Short Bio

Svenja Niederfranke is a prroject officer in DGAP's Migration Program, which is attached to the Center for Geopolitics, Geoeconomics, and Technology.

Before joining DGAP, she supported the Migration and Diversity Programme at the European Policy Centre as a Program Assistant. She also worked for the International Migration Law Unit at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva, and for the GIZ Representation in Brussels.
Svenja holds an LLM in Human Rights from the University of Edinburgh, focussing on International Migration Law, and a BA in International Relations from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Netherlands.
